Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex during its final three seasons. Her initial releases as a singer-songwriter were featured on episodes of the series, helping her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached in the Top Ten. The last decade saw she appeared in Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and several TV shows. The singer also released a few singles that did not appear on albums. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer is a Rochester Hills Michigan native who loved country music from the time she was born. Although she eventually went on to record, her first professional role was in the horror independent film Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was in high school. In the past, Kramer appeared on a number of shows including All My Children as well as CSI: NY. In 2007, she was cast as the character as Noelle Davenport for NBC's Friday Night Lights. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she was on the show until the finale season in 2012. The song later debuted in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track was featured on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. Her focus was on her musical career following that, and not resigning from acting Kramer appeared in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. Its success was due to Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This helped it reach the number three spot in the Billboard 200 country album chart. In September 2016, her time on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended in a fourth place finish. Also, she scored an adult contemporary hit by singing the track Feels Like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
